As a wife of a pilot, early on when dating my husband he let me fly and it really wasn’t that hard. He assisted with the take off and landing a bit. I was terrified at first and then it was a lot of fun. The part that I still can’t wrap my head around was doing the navigation, the radio, the flying, and everything else all at the same time. So cool!
