8 million student loan borrowers get bad news about student loan forgiveness

Federal Court issues preliminary injunction to prevent continued S.A.V.E. program that devoted less of discretionary income towards student loan repayment and loan forgiveness at end. Borrowers payments are in forbearance and interest paused while case plays out in the legal process.

Loan forgiveness is still available under the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program (PSLF)

I was on the PAYE program. Switched to SAVE & now that SAVE is on hold, no payments are being made. Not good since I'm 8 payments away from loan forgiveness. What can I do to make payments? System told me I couldn't go back to PAYE.
