I made the right decision to never sign up for Twitter, and Sam made the right decision to delete his account. "Life is much less noisy and cluttered"...Amen to that.

looks like it was a difficult but wise decision, given the unproportionate amount of time and attention twitter seemingly was taking from Harris. Inspires me to spend less time, especially engaging in debates, on social media. Although I do somewhat wish he just left his account open as an archive.

Quite rich for him to position himself as an authority on meditation and at the same time admit he can't stop ruminating over online arguments. The whole point of meditaiton is to be able to anchor yourself in the present on demand and not be pulled in and distracted by your thoughts. This man has said and done nothing to indicate he has any ability to be present.
