How to install an LED ceiling light ; and remove the old light fixture

Hi, I bought a dimmable led ceiling light. On the light, there is 3 wires(bronze, white, black). Should I connect them all COLOR to COLOR ?



On the ceiling, there is Green/yellow wire with a tiny round connector at the end of the wire, bronze wire, 2 White wires connected connected together, 2 black wires connected together, 1 red wire.



what I have done is : connect white to white, black to black, leave the bronze wire freely, hook up the green/yellow from the ceiling to the light panel with a mini screwdriver.



i'm able to turn on/off with the remote and all features work. However, the switch on/off on the wall is useless, it has no effect. So in order words, I MUST use remote to turn on/off the light.

Get a non led fixture in case the LEDs fail. Get an LED bulb instead. Much easier to fix.
