Disney Genie is the newest park tech, created to help guests build itineraries and cut down on long wait times during their vacation. But that’s only summarizing everything Disney Genie can do in its simplest form. Turns out, there’s a LOT to figure out when it comes to this new system – and I’m here to help you HACK it.

Best advice I can give REFRESH REFRESH REFRESH!! I went during Christmas season and was able to book almost every ride with little to minimal wait. Just be patient and keep refreshing.

Thanks for explaining the system but I still like the old way when you could pick your Fastpass before your trip for free. It doesn’t seem fair to have to pay park admission and then pay for Lighting Lane.

I was saying to my daughter that when you have a DAS pass you shouldn’t have to go to back to guest relations if it’s something that you have and will have all your life. And near the end you said they have new virtual DAS pass that we can schedule 30 days ahead. Thank you so much for that information. We absolutely love these videos. Thanks AJ ❤️❤️❤️

Robin Williams got into a huge fight with Disney shortly after the release of Aladdin. The source of the argument came from him taking a huge pay-cut in order to voice the Genie (which he did because he wanted to do it for his kids). The one thing he asked for in return was that his voice not be used for merchandising products or marketing. Disney agreed, but then realized that the Genie was really the star of the movie and ended up using his voice for both of those things.

we just went last week and didn’t use genie at all (we are what I would consider “vets” though, and we know what we like and where to go) nor did we use genie+, but I’m going to attribute the latter to the fact that general wait times were low enough that we didn’t feel the need to

we did do the IAS for rise though and if I’m quite honest, I thought it was absolutely worth it. i think some people don’t believe that time = money but sometimes it’s well worth paying if you’re talking not waiting for literal several hours

It baffles me they haven't made any adjustments to make it easier, the feedback has to be overwhelming that the current system isn't loved and is confusing.

I think i have been watching these vids since like 2019 or even 2018. From just watcing for background talking while i do work, or from actually watching i love these vids. ironically, ive never actually been to disney world. However, my mother (im still a minor so my mother is in charge of my vacations obviously) told me we may go to disney world within the next couple of years and i just reccomended dfb website and yt channel because in all the years ive been watching i know i can 100% trust aj and the rest of the dfb team. yall are amazing. lowkey would love to work for the channel after i graduate.

Since the clickbait word “hack” was in the title and thumbnail and only explain features, like listen to audio fun facts, here’s a real tip from someone who just used it. Intentionally reserve attractions that are temporarily unavailable and your pass will turn into a multi experience pass good for any other non surcharge attraction. This is repeatable and the ride pass you’re using to create these additional passes still remains too. And they have an window that is good until park close that day. That is a true hack. Rope dropping isn’t a hack, it’s good general advice.
