When I get samples. Either from store samples or some of those Sephora favorites sampling. I do tend to find something I fall in love with. I will end up looking at the brand for other products I might be interested in. These brands are, pretty smart giving PR or free samples. They get their names out there! Can't tell you how many times that happened to me. I love that hat 😁!

I know what you mean about fragrance in skincare: the older I get, the less I tolerate it, especially if the fragrance is very strong and very unpleasant.
For example, I purchased a jar of No. 7 Face and Neck Cream, used it once, and couldn't stand the smell! Unfortunately, I threw away the box, so I can't even return it. I may donate it.

Lancome uses rose water as a base in their skincare. I love the smell, but my skin is anything but sensitive. I used a grip of Lancome in my 20s.

Re: your part in reducing environmental damage v your use of products, etc. Etc. I think you ultimately help reduce usage and waste. Imagine all the people who watch you and, whether they follow or not, whether they comment or not, are nevertheless influenced by your INFORMED opinion (and perhaps similar tastes and/or skin type) to refrain from purchasing a media hyped product in favor of a more appropriate one. Or what if these people, or just some of them, happen to pass along the info in conversation. Pebble in a pond... Now THAT'S making a difference my friend. Also, and this is just an aside, I notice you use sample size when possible for testing, minimizing your impact whenever possible, and setting a good example. See? Your viewers pay attention! You're making a difference girl!😁👏
