Before I officially knew( as identified by my Psychiatrist) that my was was a Covert Narcissist, our Therapist advised that my wife get a Psychological evaluation. She refused to go. Stonewalled, blame shifted the reasoning. I was patiently waiting to go when she was ready. 1, -2 years went by. I thought, what does she have to lose? Her behavior has put our marriage in jeopardy. Year 3 she divorced me. She preferred divorce over help. What could she hiding I thought. But it was too late by then. Thank you Jill. You are right. They want to keep their secrets in the dark. Never to be exposed.

I’m 12 days away from being with the narc for the last 13 months, I moved out and he has no idea where I am. We bought a house at the end of may 2022, a week in and he was plotting getting me out, then because there was a glitch with getting a mortgage to do just that, he talked me round into staying. That lasted another week or so and he started again. His biggest shock was at the end of august after not speaking for a month, that I agreed to him putting the house up for sale, I called his bluff. He tried desperately to talk me round and I refused as he had threatened me. The last 2 1/2 - 3 months there was hell, in the end I got a motion sensor camera to put in my bedroom where I was more or less isolated as I ‘wasn’t allowed’ in the other rooms, he took the kettle away so I couldn’t make hot drinks and told me not to use the cooker, washer etc. The only days I could go about normal life was when he worked 3 days a week or when on his days off he went out for a few hours. He was constantly on the mobile day and night to women on dating websites, putting the calls on speakerphone so I could hear them, he even had a 2 months relationship with one of them and would go off to her house for the weekend, I didn’t care, I got peace. She then dumped him and all hell let loose on me. On recommendation from the Police and my solicitor, they have advised me to take him to court for domestic abuse and coercion which is a criminal offence, I have over 135 recordings of his rages, rants and threats, all of which are now on the Police database and they will be starting an investigation, I have to go back and do a video interview.
He knows nothing about the Police, recordings or interview, but he does know I have a solicitor.
He’s 65 now, time is running out and he is back to square one before he met me, he’s now got a bigger house and a mortgage, trying to be nice to the neighbours he detests to make me look bad and phoning around ex girlfriends trying to get character references. This guy needs serious help.

I have been abused by a Narcissist for over 2 years. I would get beat up and he would deny he ever hit me. I've finally got away. And now he is sitting in jail with 7 different felonies.

Please do a video on how narcissists try to make you feel worthless.. My boyfriend and I just went to the gas station because I wanted to get Jojo's. I was craving bad food. There was a pretty girl behind us that was pretty much not giving us space just kind of there waiting for us to be done so she could be next.. I was super fast with ordering because it just felt like she was kind of in my bubble, but anyways my boyfriend was looking at her and stepped away from me and kind of acted like he didn't know me and was annoyed by me. He does that stuff all the time where he acts like he doesn't know me in public or I'm an embarrassment to him. It infuriates me and makes me want to cry at the same time.
