Meteors are definitely of concern but I believe Solar Micro Nova events are of equal or slightly higher importance to understand and predict. Micro Nova are bigger than CME but not so big that the star dies like in super nova events. They are cyclical and occur when stars cross the galactic current sheet and get charged up. A simile at the solar system scale is the coronal hole streams and alternating polarity as mapped by the NASA ENLIL spiral. I think we should put at least 100, 000 satellites throughout the solar system with quantum entanglement for real time data transfer so we can observe and predict everything at a civilian level. Bring on the Space Age!
