Water Damage Claims and Mold Damage Claims

Water Damage Claims are the #1 type of property damage claims in Florida. Mold Damage Claims is the #2 most type of claim. Why are these two types of claims the most common?
Many factors come into play. Water Damage claims happen so frequently because of sudden unexpected issues with pipes, hoses cracking, and other issues which causes abrupt water damage inside your property.

In this video, I warn people about the changes in Florida Homeowners Insurance policies when it comes to Water Damage claims. For example, more policies are being written with water damage limits and/or water damage exlcusions.
The exact same thing is happening with Mold Damage claims, i.e. they are limiting most mold damage coverage to $10,000 or even excluding water damage from the policy entirely.
