In this video I show you my collection of Gibson Les Pauls. This video is not meant to be a flex, I just wanted to share my current collection of beloved Gibson Les Paul's that mean a lot to me and have helped me create a lot of music over the years and continue to inspire me to play guitar and write music. Thanks for sharing your awesome collection. I have a R7 goldtop and love it. I have had a bunch of other LPs of the years. My first, which I bought in ‘’87, was a beat up 1970s Custom Black Beauty similar to yours. Fretless wonder frets and heavy as hell, someone put double cream DiMarzio Super Distortion pickups in it. It sounded great. I also had an R8 which was great. The rest were Standards, Traditionals and Classics. I had one of the infamous 2015 Standards with robot tuners, brass zero nut and super wide fingerboard. I didn’t keep that one for long!

I love the versatility of the Les Paul…specifically the ability to do the hard stuff like classic metal tones yet can do blues and sweet tones too. The price tag has kept me from owning one. My main guitar is a G&L Tele and I have an Epiphone ES-335 copy with Gibson 57’ reissue pickups that I use for blues and 70s era stuff. Great seeing your collection! I may give myself an LP as a retirement present in a few years.

Great collection. It’s not bragging, it’s sharing! I sold a Gibson XPL to a Gibson custom shop team lead. He actually gave me a tour! He said the lightly aged Murphy labs were the way to go because they will “get there” on their own. Cheers and keep up the great content.

Great collection, thanks for sharing these with us.
I find it amazing how each Les Paul can have its own character. I purchased my very first Les Paul back in 1977, $565 for a brand new Les Paul Deluxe (an extra $75 for the HSC). Guitars are kind of like people, you need to evaluate each one individually, they make look the same, but getting to better know them usually paints a picture of a unique individual.
