Benny Hill with the undersized Suit and funny Hat! He looks like a Rube. One critic said he looked like a fat Churub! He was an oversized ID in the flesh.

Even Charlie Chaplin was a Fan of his. Can you imagine a Legend like Chaplin telling you that your funny and good at physical comedy? That was high praise. He kept slapstick humor going long after it was forgotten. He always gave me belly laughs so I like him always! RIP Benny Hill-You were one of a kind!

Totally remember watching Benny Hill on WWOR channel 9 in the 1980’s and later on the USA Network. It’s sad that Hill died so shortly after this special. He never married and had a family. It’s a shame that he wasn’t able pass his comedic genius onto a son or daughter.

Two decades ago I was thinking: The early comedies of Benny Hill back in the 60-es and 70-es were top notch. Later on, quality was a bit low! Just came across this 1991 piece and still feels great compared to the cringe-worthy comedies of these days. Political correctness has touched every aspect of human life and killed sense of humour. Dark days, really.
