I have watched Benny Hill when I was a kid and I don’t remember this one. Although I played many years in soccer. This is my favorite ⚽️ 🥅

From March 13, 1974. A few pointers:
- The opening music (played at 1.35x speed) was "American Sports Scene No. 1" by Jack Trombey from the De Wolfe music library
- Jackie Wright's "impersonation" of Georgie Best was priceless (sounding, as always, like Jackie Wright; Best looked probably as old as Wright was at time of this taping, when he died)
- The shot of a footballer with a ball for his head, holding Jackie Wright's head with his arm, looks like something out of a Terry Gilliam cartoon for "Monty Python."
- Besides all else whom he played, Benny impersonated the host Jimmy Hill.
