Hey Andie...I'm in grade 12 and really hoping that UCT accepts me for medicine next year because my Marks are relatively good enough..I'm just stressed by the whole thing of having to Study Afrikaans and IsiXhosa at uct. I currently do IsiZulu as a first additional language and I didn't do Afrikaans at school..I just wanted to ask your opinion on that, according to you how bad are these courses at UCT?

Hi Andie ...I am currently in grade 12 and i am doing well in school, and at this point all my educators, friends and family expect me to know what I want to be, but I dont know at all .I feel so lost, I thought that i wanted to be a doctor as I am really passionate about helping people but I feel like this passion to help people is not enough for me to be a doctor .I know that this may sound funny, but i dont know my intrests, dislikes and likes, it feels like I dont know myself.Can you please advice me .

So if you take Physiology BSc(which includes Anatomy) in the first year and transfer to medicine in the second year, does that mean you will start from 2nd year of medicine?

Hi Andy I just want to make sure if I heard you right, I did my matric 2008 and I failed, I'm only upgrading this year 2023 and I'm considering doing medicine.
I heard you saying you must not be more than 23 years of age to better the chances of becoming a doctor.
If yes what do you advise I should do so that I can eventually do medicine.

Hi Andy...for argument sake let say you failed your matric and you want to get into medicine the following year ...you are currently rewriting some of the subjects you failed...what can you do to be at least considered for medicine ..will your application be even considered because your results will be out the following year

Hy Dr Andie, my wish is to save lives through medicine, so I tried to apply but I missed by few percent, I ended up applying pharmacy, so is it possible to switch courses after completing the first year or I must just go with the flow of being a pharmacist then change after only God knows the years, I am confused
