How to Beat Margit the Fell Omen Easy Guide- Elden Ring

Margit the Fell Omen is one of the hardest bosses in the Soulsborne series to date, and it's one of the first bosses in Elden Ring. I spent five hours trying to kill Margit then found this easy trick to help you kill it. This makes everything so much easier!

If you still can't beat him, there's a secret passage to the right of the castle walls before you go up the path that leads to all the enemies before Margit. You can go through there and essentially skip him and go do other stuff, get better gear, level up more and come back when you're stronger. There are guides that shoe you this passage.

For me the wolves and the sorcerer die too quickly. Every single attempt they die when the boss is at 25% health. I even make sure that he stays in the middle of the arena so he doesn't get in a corner. I've tried two handing my sword as well for some extra damage and it still doesn't work

For those who can't manage to find the witch despite possessing the horse and be at nightime at the church, you can pursue the Bell and the Wolf summon by talking to the two Maiden husks, at the roundtable.

Just used the 3 wolves, got him halfway he was in a corner and killed all 3 of them and I just started panicking after he pulled out that hammer😂

Nope, don’t summon the wolves; Margit wastes them quickly. Summon the jellyfish and nothing else! Jellyfish poisons him and he’s unable to consistently hit the floating jelly!

There are two better summons than the wolves:

1) The Skeletons can revive themselves after getting killed, so they can distract Margit constantly which is extremely helpful. You only have to take care to lure Margit away from the skeletons after he killed them for the first time, because if he hits them a second time before they revive themselves they’re dead for good.

2) The Rotten Stray can give Margit Scarlet Rot, indicated by a red cloud around his head. Once he get this status, his health will diminish rather quickly, you just have to stay away from him and watch his health bar go down. I actually beat him using the Rotten Stray, he had around 30% health left after killing the spirit and Roger and all I had to do was keeping my distance for a couple of minutes.

There is also an item called Margit's shackle that when used stuns him for a few seconds. You can only use it a couple times though. It's like Gascoigne's music box from bloodborne. You buy it from a merchant for 5000. Not really necessary imo unless you want to solo him.

You can also find a certain NPC in a cave that leads to a fun little miniboss and afterwards you gain access to a merchant that sells an item for 5k runes that also helps immensely. Being vague to avoid any spoilers

For anyone s struggling with this, I recommend using a flask of cerulean tears after summoning the dogs and making use of your skill for more damage. Good luck
