I am an Israeli and I think that it is outrageous that he was rejected from Harvard because of his criticism of Israel. Academic institutions should invite different opinions and shouldn’t align themselves with a party or a country. Sad that Harvard is stepping away from their glory so rapidly.

It's also insane that some employers are forcing people to sign documents that require you to disagree with boycotting Israel (BDS), on condition of employment. I can't think of any other boycott getting that much pushback ever, but when it comes to $$$ some people are touchier than others (and that's not antisemitic to point out).

So the donors can buy Harvard's compliance in remaining silent. Doesn't Harvard have an endowment and is in no way really dependent on these donations? It is pure greed. As we reform to target corrupt corporate influence, we should target the quasi corporations existing within academia.

Can't talk about the country that was carved out of other people's land in 1948. But the woke people won't stop talking about Europeans settling in the Americas between 400 and 100 years ago. I don't even like talking about that little country - they don't like anyone saying anything even remotely critical of them, and they seem to operate with impunity.
