If you have found yourself drinking more than you would like to and you are beating yourself up for it, I am here to remind you that beating yourself up & getting mad at yourself isn't helpful in the slightest.

So often we think that if we just beat ourselves up, if we get mad enough, then change will eventually happen. But the truth is, true lasting change comes from self-compassion. Change comes when we love ourselves.

So burying yourself in shame & blame is pretty much the worst thing we can do when we want to change.

There is NOTHING wrong with you. Not even a little bit. You have been doing the best you can with the tools you have, and you may be surprised what a difference a little grace & compassion can make for you.

This was such a good message today . I was a year and a month and for some reason decided to try to drink . I drank 4 beers was completely bored and realized I’m not that same girl as I was when I drank . If anything reinvigorated my decision not to drink !!!
