Dragonstorm is a profitable meta. Gets you 2g coin, 6 memories of Aurene (~25s each), and Tyrian Defence seals, which you can trade for loot boxes in EotN. Also, a decent chance of Volcanic weapons, which sell for 10-15g. Takes 13 minutes

Even the simplest daily routine can churn out thousands of gold over time if you stick to it. It's definitely something everyone can benefit from, even if they don't have any crazy gold goals.

Daily login, daily crafting, daily crystal quartz charge, daily completionist 1 dragonstorm (and maybe EOD strikes + IBS3/5), weekly antique summoning stones, daily kaineng JP and maybe a fast meta train like pinata + chak + tarir and/or fractals t4 daily+recs. If I have time and feel like doing everything I mentioned, it takes like 2-3h and get like 40-50 gold and mats or items.

Get the volatile magic gathering tools to accumulate a lot of volatile magic. Then from a volatile magic vendor, buy trophy shipments. Sell all the proceeds from those shipments, you will get 20-30% GP return. For additional returns, convert the higher level mats at the forge.

A few months ago, I bought the Infinite volatile gathering tools and it made levelling up alt characters without rushing fun since I know I'm going to make progress on multiple aspects in my playthrough.

These being:
- gathering gives some XP which helps in the levelling process
- general materials I can use later to make some gold through ascended crafting (as shown in video)
- volatile magic I can exchange for Trophy shipments for legendaries later
- hits 3 birds with 1 stone if I gather from LWS3 map currency nodes (volatile magic, unbound magic, map currency for legendaries later)
- gives more volatile magic when gathering map currency nodes from LWS4 for more trophy shipments. The map currencies are also used for legendaries
- if you change your mind about doing legendaries, you can just sell the results of trophy shipments for a lot of gold, even more if you take the time to upgrade the trophies from T5 to T6 and then sell the T6 materials.

I hit 80 with my mesmer for the very first time, completed the vanilla story and I'm starting to waddle and glide around the jungle now. I'm always poor as hell in MMOs but even if I don't quite need ludicrous amounts of gold, I'm gonna keep those tips in mind. Thanks dad

If those alt characters aren't being used they could really rack in the gold being parked at some chests. Atm the Jade Runestone parking spots are the most worth it (1 in Kaineng JP, 3-4 more across Echovald depending on if you have the portable position rewinder) for a guaranteed 5 Jade Runestones per day. A couple of these chests have Elite mobs guarding them, but there's enough players they're almost always dead and half the chests don't even have an opening animation so you can just hit F and dip.

If Jade Runestones ever drop in price again, the alts can be parked in other valuable locations like the Bjora Marches waterfall, Sanctum of Nabkha, the Crystal Oasis rich quartz, or the bajillion plant farms across Tyria.

My daily routine is like this:
- Standard daily
- Home nodes
- Ascended crafting (for crafting ascended Insignia or Runes, not selling raw materials)
- Master Diver (Swimming infusion farm)
Generates quite a profit weekly (around 50g easily)

I just do the daily t1 fractals and that is between 5-10g, throw in t2 and you got another 5-8g.

It’s literally my only source of income and has been for ages and I’ve fully funded all my needs by fractals alone: griffon, skyscale, asc stuff, etc.

Hint: it’s the cracked boxes that net you gold.

Do Dragonstorm once per day, takes about 10 minutes (2g for completion, 6 memories of Aurene and you can use tokens to get some really good mats). Right after this is complete port to Auric Basin and loot the great and grand chests from the meta completion. This takes maybe 3-5 minutes and you can earn some serious gold from this. Black diamonds are ~50sp each and you can get 0-4 of these reliably. You will get unidentified gear very easily.

Combine the ascended leather and cloth, they usually sell for more. If you really want to go crazy and have lots of obsidian shards, create the jewelled ones and these are INSANE gold makes.

Join a guild with a high level guild hall. There are gathering nodes (like those in the new xpac/wvw) that you get 3 of each item per gather. This takes maybe 2 minutes and you can sell all the mats or keep them for crafting.

If you have an hour … first 8 dungeons and the loot gives you the 10 gold and dungeoneer frequenter achievement

I usually start with the guild hall gathering, then check the dailies from there - the jungle guild halls will give heart of maguuma gathering and is close (saves teleporting money) to maguuma wastes and rata sum (maguuma jungle) for gathering and vistas. I save time with the gathering dailies by heading to the city (if it is in a core tyria zone, can save teleport money if you have access to Icebrood's Eye of the North portal scroll to use the asura gate there) to do the home instance gathering there - it is definitely worth getting the node unlocks there if you have the living world episodes. You can get the map material nodes and if you don't need them, convert them to unbound or volatile magic to trade for more good stuff. I usually do the jumping puzzle daily since 9 times out of 10 there's a friendly, tagged mesmer there to instantly port you to the end. Vista viewing is also generally very quick. I don't PvP, but certain WvW dailies are pretty quick - land claimer, caravan disruptor, vet creature, and mists guard killer are all pretty quick if you don't mind the extra effort and involve little reliance on being in a group (in addition to Big Spender, of course).

T4 fractal dailies, 22-28 gold usually and if you have a good static group can be done in around 30-40'ish minutes. Even pugging under an hour.

Easy stuff while your doing other things or waiting for something:

Do not just sell your mats on the TP, list them for at least a couple less bronze than the current highest listing; it adds up. Remember that the weekends are when there is the highest demand so don't panic if you list something on a Monday and it hasn't sold by Friday morning. Conversely, when you buy put in buy orders don't just insta buy.

Farm during down time at HoT Metas: TD Meta run up and a lane or two while you wait for the wall to come down and get caches, don't just stand in front of the door at Auric Basin after the events waiting for the Octo to spawn, WP to the watches and get chests at the event places, get some containers and hit the flax field in AB while you wait for the choppers (unless the map is going for T4 then help at camps)

Help with HoT HP bosses, you get at least a Rare along with other stuff for very fast work.


Park a Mesmer at the Jump Puzzle when one is a daily and port people while you watch the kids, watch YouTube, making dinner... Every couple-few minutes or whatever matches with the other thing you're doing do a port and you will get a few gold/hr in tips for the first couple hours after reset.

Love your content. My daily routine is gather guild hall and home instance, kill the legendary naked dude for 1 mystic coin, gather the winterberries for easy ascended trinkets and/or unbound magic, login with my parked alts at echovald for 2 jade runestones daily, and my daily achievs i do in WvW because i play a lot. Aparta from all these, i also do daily fractals, IBS strikes and leviathan farm for ancient ambergris. Having a daily farming routine you can handle easy, can a make a huge difference in the long run. :)

I recommend doing daily fishing quest. It's quite easy and fast to do and there is a chance to get ambergris as reward.
