If you use a 2:1 ratio of sugar to water it will be shelf stable like honey because the sugar content is so high.

I’m working on this so I can make a Lavender Rosemary latte. You should make that Ethan. The rosemary syrup is the same preparation as this but just with 2 sprigs of rosemary!

Actually you would simmer the lavender in the water, strain then add the sugar. Less messy and more effective ❤

Perfect for London fogs! Have you any advice for concentrating the lavendar flavor? When I've made syrups, there is only like a tint of lavender; not as strong as I'd hope. Do I need to do more lavender buds per cup of water/sugar or boil longer or...?

Hi! I know I’m two years late! But ever since ariana grande has the lavender mist! I’m hooked! that’s where my lavender love started but searched on amazon! And when I would go to the lavender buds section! It would say soaps and other skincare products which is great! But then that made me think so it’s not for baking too even though it says it too! But I just wanna make sure u can use it officially for baking and cooking too! And not be like I just ate something that was non edible!🙄😂💜😎🥳❤️🤩😍😘😜🥰

I think it's recommended to not boil lavender instead just add warm water on it!
