Do not forget, that having plants does help.

I'm an older gentleman and enjoy your videos. Your first item addressed making cocktails. I, too, have a home bar. One thing that I've found enhances the bar is that my Old Fashioned glasses do not match. It's easy to buy a 4 or 8 glass set of matching glasses, but I've gone to some thrift shops and have picked up 1 or 2 unique glasses. This allows each person to have their own unique glass and there is always a story behind that particular glass.

Some handsome family portraits or elegantly framed photographs always are an interesting effect that say a lot about who you are.

I’m not necessarily your target audience, a gentleman in his early 60’s. I enjoy your videos and think your mission is desperately needed today. Here are a few thoughts on things I’ve found essential over the years:
Cocktails - you need a collection of 6 tumblers of very high quality and different but compatible designs. Mine are Salviati … expensive, elegant, and just the right weight.
You should have completely clear ice cubes on hand. You can purchase a simple and inexpensive tray that makes 4 at a time. A quality woman will immediately recognize your attention to detail.
A small supply of the finest garnishes is a necessity. Luxardo cherries, Castelvetrano olives, and fresh lemons are a good start.
Know how to make 4 key drinks: a Manhattan, an Old Fashioned, a Martini, and a Negroni. A great book on cocktails is Death & Co.
Lighting - your comments on lighting are spot on. I also use only 2700 degree Kelvin lighting. The color is a perfect soft white, similar to the glow of a candle or twilight on a clear evening. I also avoid down lights, particularly in front of a mirror. They tend to cast shadows that make your guests feel uncomfortable.
Your videos are very nicely done and enjoyable, keep them coming.

If I may add: a good wooden valet stand to keep tomorrow’s outfit laid out in a harmonious and elegant way. Great video!

American men need content like this. There is a dearth of class and gentlemanly culture in the USA at the present moment.

A music system is definitely up there. Even more versatile than a cocktail set (although I appreciate the aesthetics of the latter). A really nice Italian coffee machine would set a similar tone to the cocktail set.

Timeless furniture, art, some small and large potted plants and a few hand made oriental rugs.

Good points there. You've forgot to mention one, probably most important thing, - restrain! It's easy to go a few steps too far with furnishing. I truly believe it's best to be a few things short than having your apartment cluttered.

My first bachelor pad was at 201 E. Walton street in Chicago in 1979. My neighboring places were the Playboy building where I had a membership at the Playboy Club. The Drake Hotel where I got my haircuts and manicures. Love your art. I had similar art, loved to collect black and white photos. Had Le Corbusier leather chairs and a well stocked bar and humidor. Back in the day it was preppy, Ralph Lauren, Lacoste and Brooks Brothers. Also loved Dunhill and Burberry. I had Sommelier credentials so I knew my wines, particularly French, could make a great martini with my collection of art deco cocktail shakers. And in the mid 80’s I had a lovely flat off high street Kensington in London. Great Times! You have great taste.

Quality appliances that reflect your lifestyle and health. I have a rather pricy juicer. As well as a cutting board and knife. Both have far more story’s and meaning to me as they were all gifts. Items that have depth, character, well designed. Frame menus of restaurants you like or have had an incredible experience to. Adds story’s.

Great video as always

A really nice trick I found to elevate my hospitality, is by having some slippers for my guests to wear in my house

And not just some cheap ones
But quality ones that will keep the guests feet warm

I have brought 2 sets just for the guests, a blue pair and one in neutral grey, but I might need some more if I am to expect more guests at once

Whst you seems to have forgotten or maybe ignored is a wall clock, preferebly a vintagd windup clock or a more modern quartz. The ticking of a vintage wind up clock is quite relaxing. With a vintage windup wall clock you are showing that as a gentleman your time is importnant to you and that you appreciate the classics.

The tips on ambience and decor are much appreciated.

One suggestion (if I may): The crumpled tube of Colgate stood out on your otherwise immaculate counter. I, a man much older but not as wise, have spent years trying to find the best (and most gentlemanly...) toothpaste. That epic quest ended years ago when I stumbled upon the Italian brand Marvis.

The packaging is refined, sure, but more importantly the taste of the paste is exceptional. Just like a luxurious cream can take shaving from a nick-filled chore to an enjoyable, even meditative, experience, so can sophisticated toothpaste elevate the dull act of brushing into something enjoyable, even anticipated.

There's an assortment of flavors to choose from. our preference will, of course, differ from mine, but I'm partial to anise, cinnamon, and jasmine.

Love your style! I would add to always have a bottle of champagne ready, always clean sheets and good, clean bathroom towels. Photos of places you went or family and friends are amazing, things that display your hobbies (instrument, boxing gloves etc.) Nicely presented, a nice audio system, always a toothbrush in reserve, and a device that allows you to make great coffee in the morning

I admire your productivity and commitment, especially as I am about to start my own Youtube channel (on a very different topic). Keep up the good work.
