Yard sales & thrift shops have so much to offer at little prices! Even if I had alot of money I'd still buy used because it's a thrill & fun to decorate or repurpose it to fit your needs & decor

Basically all my furniture has been owned by someone else before me. My dining table and my bed I got new, but the rest is things I've slowly collected through the years. My grandparents and parents have lived in large, old manors and then downsized and/or sold summer houses, so even after fighting my cousins and siblings over the stuff, I have a collection of beautiful old things with lots of personality. The rest I have bought off of marketplace or at fleamarkets. I know I'm lucky and I acknowledge it every time I sit down in my beautiful red leather chair, or when I put a book back into my huge bookshelf.
