The problem is the dating of the DSS. I have heard many times that they are too old to be about Christians. But on the other hand the dating is not always precise. If they fit into the first century, Paul is definitely the l i ar of the Pesher Habbakuk

John Bergsma wrote a book about it titled, wait for it, "Jesus and the Dead Sea Scrolls, " published in September 2019 by Image. It's an eye opener, truly.

in c. 1983 I saw a documentary on the DSC. One cave held many unusual shaped objects. They were dark colored and probably stone. there were geometric shapes mostly smooth, tapered, complex shapes, squares. They looked like some Eschler might have drawn.... I have never found any reference to these objects despite numerous attempts, especially since 2006 when I finally got a computer. I think the cave had a name like "Cave of the Treasure"? But that doesn't sound right now that i typed it

Jesus, the Son of Yahweh is not mentioned in the Dead Sea Scrolls popularly believed to be the written thoughts of the Essenes, a Jewish sect who lived in Qumran, Palestine from the Third to the First Century. However no one really knows who wrote them.

The Manual of Discipline, one of the Dead Sea Scrolls, says that God created two great spirits, one of truth and one of perversity, the latter being the angel of darkness.

'Through the angel of darkness, however, even those who practice righteousness are liable to error. All their sin and their inequities, all their guilt and their deeds of transgression are the result of his domination; and thus, by God's inscrutable design, will continue until the time appointed by Him.'

The proper name is the son's of right, son's of the teacher of righteousness, who is teaching the original covenant not necessarily a New covenant but bringing back the original one.

The way I understand things, the latest C14 dated scrolls are c. 50 C.E. Also there are no references to a dying and rising teacher/messiah or to the name Jesus, Joshua, Yeshua etc. Is tnis not a little strange. I would have thought they would be busting a gut to get the good news out to whoever found these scrolls written when Jesus was supposedly alive. Please correct me if I am wrong, but I find this a very weird omission from the later scrolls.
