Do you need fancy words?

Do you think you need to learn fancy or 'advanced' words?

Listen, I'm all about expanding our vocabulary, in fact, I think it's great! But, I'm not a fan of spending a lot of effort learning words that we might NEVER use in a real conversation (we probably wouldn't even use it in our native language!)

It's easy to fall into the trap of learning a bunch of new words, so I challenge you to ask yourself "Is this REALLY what I need to feel more confident about my English?"

You are right, but those fancy words are the ones that I remember better because they have French / Latin origin, (sorry, I mean roots).
