1. Misnomer
A misnomer is a cool word used when referring to something which has a name that inaccurately describes it. Think of something like a giant named Tiny, or a great white shark named Fluffy.
2. Improvement
To improve something simply means to make it better. From that we can learn that an improvement is the action of making something better. By watching this video and engaging in it, you are improving your understanding and use of English.
3. Enthusiasm
Enthusiasm is a feeling of excitement and happiness towards doing something. Simply put it is showing that you want to do something by being excited and engaged. Teachers love enthusiastic learners who pay attention and ask questions in the comment section.
4. Regret

Regret is a feeling you get when you wish you hadn’t done something, or if you wish you did something instead. It’s not a fun feeling and we usually experience it when we did something we weren’t supposed to do. You can feel regret if you didn’t study enough for a test, or if you were mean to someone.
5. Nemesis
A nemesis is a word we use to say our biggest enemy. In video games, or TV shows we usually have a hero who has a nemesis. The nemesis works against the hero and tries to stop them. For example, Dr. Robotnik is Sonic the Hedgehog’s nemesis. Try to think about some examples of a nemesis in your favorite shows and games.
