DIY TRAKTOR Loop Controller - PART 1

The new TRAKTOR S4 MkIII controller doesn't have controls for the Loop Recorder. In this video we'll make a custom Loop Controller to fix that.

man, im so glad to have come across your channel. your laid back style, combined with the confidence of having built many controllers, and your ability to explain in simple terms, what your doing, has really helped me. nice, thanks Dave! I've been slowly making an entire controller (like the S4) with what I've learnt from your channel. I've been thinking about how to build a jog wheel next. Do you maybe know what electronics NI are using in their controllers? Ideally it would be something that has a highish resolution as well.

Hello Dave. I have a Korg Volca FM that has a MIDI IN connector. Could the Traktor S4 MkIII be used in line with Volca and add some effects to it? Thanks for your great videos. Thumbs up!!!

I've built this controller and it works great on the laptop that I used to programme it but I then tried it on my other laptop and I can't get it to work, I'm assuming it's a driver issue, any ideas how I can solve the problem I can't seem to locate a driver that works?
