Great video.. neat little "on the go" solution for mobile DJs who don't want to carry bulk. I was surprised that your phone actually went into sleep mode when the DJay Pro app was still running though. The app should have prevented this from happening and I can see this being an issue for DJs.

Great lesson with the spectrum analyzer 👍🏽 I personally mix by ear, but for beginners, this is a great way to get them started, but I will be practicing a bit more with the analyzer.

I find these DJ controllers fascinating. I just got a Hercules Starlight to hook up to my desktop PC. I love how the functionality of a board with 2 turntables is simulated to do everything with mp3's.

Also just something to be mindful of. There are 2 types of controllers that look exactly the same. You have the Dj Hercules Mixer which is this one and there is also the Dj Hercules Starlight. The starlight does not have the Bluetooth function. An easy way to tell the difference is if it days Djay on the player on the top right it is for Bluetooth as apposed to the other which will say Serato on the top right.

can you make a tutorial on how you would mix new wave songs from the 80s or any tips or advice you can give?....its quite tricky since the songs are of wide variety, some more rock, some more electro, and some dance pop type vibes....I've been practicing quite a lot coz i got booked to do an 80s themed party....and I have been recording my sets but the flow just isn't right and not quite there yet still got some cleaning up and details to do...maybe not being familiar with the 80s and its music contributed to that as well. Thanks
