How to count weekends between two dates

Показать описание
In this example we are using 3 Excel functions
Sequence -- To generate a sequence of dates from Start date to end date
Weekday - To check the dates which weekday (1 for Sunday, 2 to 6 for Monday to Friday, 7 for Saturday)
SumProduct - To count the dates
The SEQUENCE function generates a list of sequential numbers in an array. The array can be one dimensional, or two-dimensional, determined by rows and columns arguments.
The WEEKDAY function takes a date and returns a number between 1-7 representing the day of week. By default, WEEKDAY returns 1 for Sunday and 7 for Saturday, but this is configurable. You can use the WEEKDAY function inside other formulas to check the day of week.
The SUMPRODUCT function multiplies ranges or arrays together and returns the sum of products. This function can be used to count and sum like COUNTIFS or SUMIFS, but with more flexibility. Other functions can easily be used inside SUMPRODUCT to extend functionality even further.
