The Spongebob Crab Meat Theory

This is one of the few theories ive put together that i truly believe is not a theory, i get it, spongebob is a kids show and blah blah blah... I GET IT.. but between Patrick eating Krabs, krabs himself tasting crabs, all the way to the questionable population of crabs in bikini bottom.... also the krusty krab itself i mean just watch the vid bro...

Btw, there is an episode where Krabs actually goes and meets other crabs, I forget what the episode was called, but he basically brought SpongeBob to this hotel place where the Crabs had some kind of "Meeting"

Squids mainly eat fish and crustaceans, which might explain why he goes so ham on the krabby patties too, since he was depriving him of them for so long.

I would say that this is simply normalized in Bikini Bottom, chum in real life is just ground fish, and no one seems to have moral objections to it, they just think it tastes bad, the same way we would talk about a cheaper, tougher cut of meat. In fact, one of the confirmed ingredients in the Krabby Patty Formula was a pinch of chum, before the recipe was broken by plankton and crabs, and the Krabby Patty was better without the chum. As this is normal for most fish in real life, I could entirely see cannibalism normalized in Bikini Bottom.

I remember Robot Chicken taking this theory and running with it in a short skit where Spongebob forms a riot against his boss.
Also, later seasons DID have more krabs show up. There was a whole convention episode where they got together to see who was the biggest penny-pinching cheapskate of them.

a few things that ruins this theory is with the episode "Kracked Krabs", we see many other krabs and none of them are feasting on eachother, despite being huddled in a hotel room. Also I just think it's a vegan patty and thats it. My question is: where do they get the cheese?

there is an episode where he eats a krabby patty and he says "so thats what i taste like" he is not referring to what crab taste like, hes referring to the old patty he ate since the fishes kept calling him old.

Krabs could’ve been saying “So that’s what it tastes like”, in response to either the way Krabby Patties taste if he’s never had one, or as in how that patty in specific tasted, not just “So that’s what I taste like”
