Also you see his mother later in the episode. Also Mr. Crabs being the "only" crab is a non point. There are a ton of characters that are the only of that kind. Larry the lobster, Pearl being a whale, Flats the Flounder and so on, basically all the MC's with exception of family and Squidward where you get to go to that weird squid homing center lol The only point that makes sense would be the crab trap but it could just be a neat reference to the name of the Krust Krab
