Показать описание
To fill cracks in your asphalt driveway, you should first remove any loose material and weeds in the cracks. Then clean out the cracks with a hose. You want the asphalt damp but you don't want standing water, so use a push broom or leaf blower to remove excess water. Fill the cracks and smooth it out with a scraper. Let the crack filler cure before recoating.

The material you are using is fantastic for wood  roof repair also, I have a  flat wood  roof shed, and naturally everyone knows flat wood  roofs  are notorious for leaking . especially flat wood roofs .  But the issue is I live in a area that the HOA will not allow the roof to be seen from the road,   So I simply used cheap treated pine fence boards  which are about 5/8th of an inch thick, which are thicker than your typical Asphalt shingle.  I used 2 by 4 treated wood for my rafters, I put them on 12 inch centers for strength, they only span 8 feet, and    supported them where the 2    8  foot spans join  in the middle so they would not sag .  The shed  measures 16 feet by 25 feet, so it is not  a real tiny shed . It does have a tiny Incline so it is not perfectly flat but most roofers will say it is almost flat . I had to do a little excavation so I could go into the soil and put a drain system leaving going out to the street, this way I have about 6.5 feet of Walking room from floor ceiling .   So your product Henry Asphalt drive way repair works fantastic on wood also .  Naturally I put 3 heavy coats and also caulked the cracks to be sure they were sealed  before  I put the drive way crack repair onto it .   So I have at least 3 heavy thick coats of  drive way material that stays flexible in the Winter or Summer and does not allow one drop of water to penetrate through the wood into my cheap Shed .    When I was building it,   people could not believe that I would build a flat wood roof shed.  But I knew this flexible material would work fine .  It must be put down in warm dry weather, and needs about 3 coats to insure reliability .   This is a fantastic product . It is great for minor roof repair also on a regular Shingle roof

My 10 yr old drive way has been sealed for the first time, it has cracks and I want to fill it. I was thinking it would still be good even putting it after the seal (4 days ago). It's much better to have it done rather than leave the cracks come winter this season.

Desperate here. Today is the last day it'll be warm enough to fill cracks to hold the drive till we can get someone to seal it next Spring. Problem is we woke to a heavy fog on the ground and the driveway looks wet. Can we fix patches even though it's damp outside? Thank you!!!
