What’s good guys! Today’s video is all about how to go about choosing a stream post your 10th standard exams and what to choose after 10th. This was a subscriber meet-up that I had done at Pune where I met a confused student who asked me for some advice on how to go about making career decisions as a 15 year old. This video is important to you if you are in school or just on the crossroads of finishing school & starting your journey in the world as a college student. I talk about why it is okay to have confusion about career & which stream to choose after 10th stream. Due to the archaic education system in India, we have to choose between 3 streams- science or commerce or arts which is why most of us need some career guidance at this juncture in our lives. PRACTICAL ADVICE FOR ALL 10TH STUDENTS : Its better to have a brief knowledge about all the 3 streams and if possible go through the books of all the streams and then observe what you like and what you understand. I had a friend he had decided to take Science in +2. After 10th boards he went to physics tuition and didn't understood a single thing, so he took up Commerce. In my case I had an interest in Finance, Stock Market, Money Management since class 9th and had watched tons of videos, read blogs about so I took up Commerce and right now I'm finding it really easy. Because I had done a bit of research on it before. So, I advice you to do a little bit of research about all the streams and think in which field is your chance of succeeding the best. If you are good at Science take Science, good at Commerce take commerce.

I took MPC in +2 because my parents and relatives forced me to and I absolutely hated it. Then they forced me to take engineering but deep down I know it ain't working with me so I fought with them and said I would rather quit college then to study engineering and guess what I took arts as I didn't know what to choose and I probably did the right thing by not choosing engineering . Now I found the purpose of my life and I'm preparing myself as an entrepreneur (which had nothing to do with what I studied in college). So what I wanna say it doesn't matter if you took a certain steam which u didn't like because Ur life is more then just college. Find the purpose of Ur life instead of running for job and money. Play the long game.

Hi! Thanks for your opinion . I'm a 15 year old and I can completely relate to this video .I'm taking science only because of the same reason ...that many fields will be open for me in the future .But still, I was sceptical .It was a really small video, but helped a lot in motivating me .Thanks ❤

Omg this is exactly what I did. I gave my 10th boards back in 2018 and took up science as I wanted a career in medical field (parents' desire ofc). Then I realized where my real interest lies, which is numbers, but ironically, I hated physics and chemistry more than anything. Now in 2020, I enrolled myself for a statistics major, with maths and economics, as I'm more interested in finance and stuff. I didn't even sit for medical examinations, which my parents had spent lakhs for. Society still questions me for taking such a drastic step all by my own, but I'm sure I'll make it till the end. Dope video! 🔥

Well am a arts student nd my parents didn't forced mine nd my brother's decision and we know that we are going to face upsc and get a job like IAS or IPS so if u know what you are doing then there's nothing like ki no u should take science and it'll be beneficial!!?
