One thing i would like to add,

The uncle who said he got 60ish percent, were considered a very bright student in their time, coz the marking were way too strict and the questions were too tough.

I got 92.5 & 91.25 respectively but it hardly made any difference, your career only depends how shrewd you are in making decisions 😊

it's not only percentage but also money....like I have friends who barely passed in exams....that to commerce stream...but are doing MBA from because money speaks....and also I have friends including me...who used to be among the toppers of the class .... didn't get to do what we want to for our career, because financially we couldn't afford that....and so still struggling to figure out what I want to do with my life

i failed in 12th but i am doing great now
The thing is try to score as much as you can, YEAH it matters because with good percentage you can get college of your choice and if you want to do job than there are certain percentage requirements for freshers, though it won't matter when you gain experience
Don't worry about marks but remember higher the better

I scored 82 in 10th and 92 percent in 12th but that doesn't matter any where in life and I've been struggling for my career today

I used to think the same that % doesn't matter. But, during covid 19 all the admissions were merit based and i scored around 65% in 12th and was not able to get my dream college, i was waiting for entrance tests . I was not getting admission in any good clg as the merit was high . I was literally depressed at that time and was regretting a lot. You never know what will happen in future, so just prepare hard and score good for your own self.

I always follow 80:20 rule. My main motive is always to score minimum 80 percentage, so that I don't get trouble in fulfilling the criteria for any exams as most of them requires below 80%. If you have got 80%, you are good to go
