Why Did Palpatine Fear Yellow Lightsaber Wielders?

The Consulars focused on studying the force, whereas the Guardians specialized in maintaining peace. However, these groups had become somewhat isolated from the wider galaxy, leading to a loss of trust among many citizens.

In contrast, the Jedi sentinels, who wielded yellow lightsabers, believed in a more balanced approach that combined the study of the force with warrior training. They recognized the value of learning practical skills from the people of the galaxy and applied their Jedi knowledge to help developing worlds. Following the events of Order 66, many Jedi sentinels were able to use their real-world abilities and support from local populations to avoid elimination. Consequently, Palpatine viewed the yellow lightsaber-wielding sentinels as a potential threat, as they were the group of Jedi most likely to overthrow him.
