The `Unexpected Assault` blob: Once Neurotyrant leading 6 Zoanthropes, accompanied by a Hive Tyrant (melee or Hvy Venom Cannon). Assault and Lethal for the Zoanthropes and Neurotyrant means they can get into range way faster than expected. Any melee threatens them you can Heroic Intervention with the Tyrant for free. If you really want to ruin their day have an Exocrine or two follow along, Exocrines with [Assault, Lethal] will soften up most targets...

Just starting with Tyranids and learning the faction. I love the space bug aesthetic. Your videos have been informative and helpful.

Dude, absolutely amazing video. I’m a nid player, this is the best video I’ve seen so far, thanks! You really tie it all together and show how the list works

Awesome video, something I've found very helpful for this detachment is having a biovore to spawn spore mines to deny deep strikes to your back field

Great content, really helpful for me as returner into the hobby

Another consideration with Endless Swarms; you can re-spawn a brood back up over half-strength. It's great to avoid those battle shock tests, and it gives more OC on the objective at the same time. Plus, since it's D3+3 regardless of brood size, it's convenient for running MSU with lots of 10-gaunt broods to screen out corners, secure objectives, and generally make a nuisance of themselves.

I'd love to add a second exocrine or a second malaceptor to my list, but gettin ahold of that Maleceptor is a trial and a half, and my own personal bias of always wanting to run old one eye and a single carnifex backup dancer. Having them pop in via rapid ingress. Then tou have the dream of your opponent shooting at them and getting a chance to blistering charge into engagement range and pop counter offensive. I love storing the first turn CP to do this turn two

I used the precision on crits against votann recently. It was very entertaining getting five precision shots on an overwatch with my exocrine and sniping a character. Entertaining but not nearly as good as sustained or lethal :3

I also love using the 4+ fight on death on big monsters like my norn emissary. Big gamble but feels awesome when it works out.

Invasion fleet is a surprisingly fun and well rounded detachment i use it all the time :3c

Thank you 👍
Zoanthropes with a neurotyran also benefit from “Big Guns Never Tire” it’s so good 🤣

I believe the minus 1 to shadow aura only affects 6 inches not synapse range small but potentially impactfull thing to know

A great summation of the great points of Invasion fleet! Looks like a good list.

Personally, j still don't love the Zoanthropes for their points cost. They still die too easily. Even hitting on twos i find i get way more value out of Exocrines, Malceptors, and Tyrannofexs

My list is almost the same. The only difference is I am playing 1xMaleceptor and 1xTrygon, instead of 2xMaleceptor and instead of 2xGargoyles and 1x Raveners (I don't own any of those) I fit in 1xTyrannofex with rupture cannon, for good anti-tank measure. And finally, a squad of neurogants to screen my DZ, so that I can focus my Biovore on more agressive area denial for my opponent. I believe people are going a bit back and are running more infantry-filled lists and reducing the tanks, so I put only 1 Tyrannofex. My reasoning behind the Trygon is that he hits hard, and his deepstrike on 3" is very funny with rapid ingress. I pop him near my opponent's home objective, out of line of sight and charge distance of most their models and on my turn I proceed to nom everything on that objective. Now if they want their home obj back, they have to pull back assets that would be enough to take down a Trygon in cover. And if that hapoens, by that point the scoring game should be over.

Great video! Should have a disclaimer about the fincial cost of collecting nids. I went on the GW website and the list you suggest would cost £726 with a codex here in the UK😢

Why are Zoanthropes able to shoot while in engagement range? They aren‘t monsters and have no heavy weapons? So big guns never tier doesn‘t apply. What am I missing? 16:25

i'm not sure how popular it is, but my gaming group usualy play 1000pts. games, so i would love to see some 1000pts. list building tips or anything really more related to that type of game since list building becomes so different. it's hard finding good sources for 1000pts lists in any army (unless i'm just bad at researching :P)

Perfectly adapted strategem only affect model not unit so it wouldn't work on broodlord unit while he has genestealers with him, isnt that correct?

Just found your channel and love your videos 😀
