An excerpt of Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 performed by the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra and New York Choral Artists, led by conductor Franz Welser-Möst on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 in Carnegie Hall's Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage.

This performance opened Carnegie Hall's Vienna: City of Dreams festival. The Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra returns to Carnegie Hall for three more Vienna: City of Dreams performances, March 13, 15, and 16.

Can you imagine a deaf man writing this?
Just listen from 1:23... It depicts the suffering of a man that turned into pure joy by the end of his life. Beethoven is amazing!



But not as amazing as me sorry he complimented 12 year old me you know
