You can't make out anything with the face cards. Horrible choice of cards for this trick.

You made your own variation of the traveling 4 aces? Looks a lot like that trick

When he puts back the 4 Aces and flips the cards one by one, he actually cuts 7 cards instead of just the 4 Aces. So now all the 3 Aces are in the bottom ot the cut, 3 cards are other cards and the remaining one Ace is on the top.
I hope I didn't make it more confusing.

Was this like false dealing? Like the first three cards that he dealt he skipped the three aces and then all the rest was normal so when he dealt three cards above the ace if spades he was just dealing the three aces he’d kept
