Today storm and Echo absolutely amazing border collie sheepdogs work as a team to complete a very important and intense herding operation
These is the first time the young sheep have went this route on the farm and are not sure what is happening
Both dogs have to work hard to get the sheep going in the right direction before a slow walk down the lane topped of with a very intense road crossing

I live in the US and I have a tiny apartment so I have bulldogs because they are suited for sofa life. It's really neat to see border collies doing what they are meant to do.

Very interesting to me. The dogs were happy that they did a good job. I love watching them work, more interesting than watching highly trained dogs in a competitions😁

It's YOU who trained those dogs, right Sean? The skill set it takes to teach a dog how to be a reliable herding animal must not be underestimated. When you speak of the brilliance of these border collies, you must also give honorable mention to the teacher. Kudos to you for your hard work and success. Your dogs are truly magnificent.

It's absolutely brilliant watching these dogs work. Imagine if you could only use two men for the same job.

I had a Border bCollie in South Africa for 17+ years(!) To this day I mourn Kimdog. Give each dog a rub behind those silky ears to say "Good dog!") Wonderfull clips!

Both complement each other so well. Also cute how Storm sits when she has gotten near the sheep even without a command. The way Echo followed the away command when they were in a confined space was so impresive too.

The dogs are amazing and incredibly valuable but I'm always impressed with how you read the flock-- knowing when to press, when to back off, where to send the dogs etc., clearly a great skill. Love your content thanks for sharing.

It may have been an intense situation but you and your brilliant dogs made it look easy.

Definitely there was tension this time. I was sitting here in Colorado USA, leaning forward, muscles tight. Urging the dogs on. I’m used to relaxing when watching your shows and going with the flow and rhythm of the dogs’ movement. Even though I knew everything would be fine, I was still tense. It was a brilliant show, and the explanations up front really made it work beautifully. I wouldn’t want that kind of stress all the time though... probably no more than you or the dogs.

Props to YOU Sean. Storm and Echo do their manoeuvres under _your_ guidance; you have to do the thinking. It's fascinating that your collies know what to do in a simple setting and can do it by themselves with minimum guidance from you, but this was way more complex. You could tell they were concentrating so hard; anticipating the sheep's (individual sheep and the flock) movements and listening for your commands. Team work at it's finest. ✌✌

I'm watching too many of your videos. On your final "that'll do", I sat down!

It almost looks like Storm and Echo appreciate a job that requires more complex thinking. They are always so happy when they finish each herding episode, but this time they seemed particularly proud of themselves! Thank you Sean for creating and sharing these stunning videos of your magnificent dogs, the poetry of their relationship with you, and the splendid backdrop of rugged rural Scotland! Your manner of presentation is that of a masterful teacher. We are learning so much about herding, different breeds of sheep, different breeds of dogs, the natural landscape, history and archeology of your area! As a field archeologist in my younger days I did my share of outdoor work in nasty weather, but will admit I am happy now, to watch you and your brilliant black and white "Most Valuable Players" from inside my warm house in Arkansas, US! I look forward to all of your videos with great anticipation. You go!
