I went on October 5th my 40th Bday drank 3 litres, lost my seats then went down the road and drank another 3 steins and then randomly drank 500 ml beers on the way back through Munich main Station to Fasangarten, German folk are good people.

I was able to go to Oktoberfest for a day this past October! Although the majority of my trip was to Austria, I was flying home from Munich, so I was able to stop by. I got unlucky and it was very crowded (it was the last Friday of Oktoberfest). Nevertheless, it was exciting to check out, and I was able to try one of the roasted chickens! Anyway, well done with the video, and I'll have to watch this video again if I get a chance to go again!

We have Wurstfest in New Braunfels, Texas each year for 10 days. It's HUGE as well, but not quite so much as in Munich. Of course it was cancelled in 2020. I'm not a beer drinker, but I go for the comradery, music and foods I don't normally eat. Looking back at previous years pictures, packed with people, makes me wonder how it will be different from here on out. 🥴

I like Germany and the fair atmosphere but I am not much of beer guy and I hope they are smart enough to go for rollercoaster before start eating and drinking .

Actually Oktoberfest started in the late 1800's as King Lüdwig wedding on the same spot it is held today.
