Amazing Levi. So well filmed. Can we also stop and take a moment to appreciate that creating content in cold weather is also incredibly difficult. Not to mention the physical nature of what you where doing. I am a commercial sports fishing photographer and I shot a lot of ice fishing content. It’s incredibly tiring to just exist and move around in multiple layers of clothing all while your body has to work hard to keep warm. And then on top of that you also have to be creative and work with electronics in cold conditions. So what you have filmed is pretty incredible. Hats off to you! Keep creating!

As an Indian, who's never even seen snow in his entire life, I'm addicted to all these hour long camping videos, especially in icy environments. Can't stop watching, they're all very relaxing.❤

I love how this started out quiet like most of these videos go, then day 2, the insanely happy guy starts gushing about his nordic ice saw. Great fun!

I usually don’t comment on videos or really anything for that matter, but this is some of the best content I have ever seen. I’ve watched thousands of youtube videos and have always had a strong interest in outdoor/survival videos. Your positive outlook on life and your appreciation for nature is so infectious man and rekindled my love for this beautiful floating rock we call home. Absolutely amazing content and filmmaking. Keep it up!!!

Next time, mix the snow and water in another bucket and use it like mortar for bricks. You want like a slushie consistency. Then, coat the seams with a bit of that mix, and then put the reg snow over that. This will create a much stronger bond. Your bricks can also be slightly rounded rather than slanted. This will bring the circle in toward itself without fighting gravity. Believe me, I know how difficult it is to build these. Practice the craft. Thank you for embracing this, as it is something that is dying out with time.

As an Inuk. This was very satisfying to watch. There’s no right or wrong as long as it works. Keep up the good videos. Happy new year! 🎉

I fear and dare I say, hate the cold but watching others (who don’t share in my sentiments) do incredible things in it is truly humbling and fascinating to me.

I also love your joyful spirit and positive attitude. I think your igloo came out awesome… especially considering all the hard work you put into the building of it. This was pretty amazing to watch and I thank you for sharing your experience with us all!

I think the disclaimer at the beginning was very professional and shows how much you care about nit only the outdoors, but people as well. Beautiful igloo btw 🤯

Your excitement over that Nordic ice saw was the best, it cracked me up because of how excited you were. It was so wholesome I loved it! 💙🤍

SO FREAKING COOL! Man, what an experience, this is how you make the most of winter!

The amount of labor that you guys had to put in to building that igloo so quickly is intensive. Great job. Very impressive. And it’s so absolutely freezing out there hard to know how you were able to tolerate it for so long. And I’m always amazed by humans who seem not have to go to the bathroom for weeks at a time.

I am baffled he is doing all this by himself. I salute you

I can't imagine being in temperatures that can produce ice that thick! Hats off to you for being able to build a structure and film it all - not an easy task!!

(Also, I have absolutely ZERO need for one, but I really want a Nordic ice saw after watching this 😂)

In all my years of living and growing up in Canada - this is the first time I’m watching a igloo being made. Thanks Levi for the awesome content!

It’s fun watching you slowly figure out the most efficient way to do this. Really one of humanity’s greatest traits — given enough willpower and enough time, we can figure out pretty much anything. Well, more you than me. I’m sitting on a couch with coffee next to a fire. But only cuz you told me to.

Hey Levi - first time watcher here... and I had an idea on a different way to make an ice home.

1 - Gather the snow together into the shape you want. Pack it just enough to hold the shape you want.
2 - Get some old sheets and soak them in water and lay them on top of the snow. Let them freeze.
3 - Use a water pump (hand or electric) to keep adding layers of ice on top.
4 - Once the ice is as think as you want, dig the snow out of your new ice home.

Fewer tools, faster setup, roof with no sticks, very original YT content.

If you want, you can use warm water to remove the fabric layer from the inside.

Why haul ice when you can make it?

I love it man! I didn't even realize until you started talking about 5 minutes in that you didn't say a single word in the intro and still managed to captivate. I'm not currently able to travel and do this kind of stuff so these videos fulfill my wanderlust. Thank you!

As someone who’s done none of the work, it’s a magnificent achievement, and the whole scene is absolutely magical. I’ve only seen snow twice in my life, and have obviously never experienced cold like that, but it is breathtaking!

That was pretty incredible Levi well done. Very few people will ever appreciate the amount of work it took to accomplish that and film at the same time in those temps.

Your energy and positive outlook is so infectious. I found myself smiling and laughing along with you. What an amazing experience. If I wasn’t in so much chronic pain, I’d love to hang out sometime and just chill (pun intended) with you. Thank you for sharing! This brought back so many memories of Boy Scouts survival training.
