Five-Minute Monster: Slaadi (DnD 5e)

Hailing from the plane of Limbo, slaadi are agents of chaos sent to give your party fits... Or at least fun adventures! In Five-Minute Monster, I give you a brief overview of a monster, detail some tips for running it in combat, and suggest a few potential adventure hooks and ways to incorporate it into your campaign. All in five minutes or less!

Haha! I had a DM playfully cursing my Chultan Bladesinger Kensei Monk when she tanked like 4 of these bad boys - a red, a grey, a death and a blue Sladi.

They tried to beat on her but she was rocking a 29 AC at lv 13. Base Monk AC 18 + 2 bracers of defense + 1 for a DM magical Item = 21 + 2 Haste spell + 4 Bladesinger AC Bonus + 2 Kensei Agile Parry = 29 AC or 34 Max with Shield Spell Reaction. 😮

They also threw Fireball...but im a Monk with advantage on Dex checks (haste) and they used Death Clog but I took the Feat Resilient - Constitution so I had amazing Con saves.

The only thing that scares my Monk is a caster with Dispel Magic. 😂😂
