So when a Slaadi asks “Where do babies come from?” the answer requires a flow chart.

I'll never forget the time my party and I had to break into a compound guarded by 75 slaads, and just as we got there our wizard fireballed the entrance alerting all of them. We only survived because of our cleric's Divine intervention.

Day 29: Layer 77 of the Abyss: the Gate. They say chaos reigns in Limbo, but nothing is crazier than the 77th layer of the Abyss: the Gate.

Idk if alot of people know this but in one of the actully 3.0 3.5 monster manuals they talk about the slaadi /slaad.
There's actually something beyond the death slaadi it can go thru some kind of metamorphosis and thus will be either a *WHITE* not grey,
or Black Slaadi.

In 3.5 There’s also Mud Slaad which reproduce creating more Mud Slaad, they were created so the Red Slaad weren’t the weakest tier of Slaad, and two stronger tiers than the Death Slaad, the White Slaad and the Black Slaad, which were created for there to be a type of Slaad for epic level games (players going above level 20)

In 3/3.5 in the epic level handbook there is 2 more powerful then the death slaad. The white and black slaad. There are also mud sladd, can't remember what they do but everyone bullies the mud slaad (not from the epic level handbook) and i people it's their fault

I both like and hate the slaad at the same time
On one hand, they're cool frog dudes that make for interesting scenarios in games
But on the other hand, they don't feel like representations of chaos the way that the modrons feel like representations of law. Slaad have a strict hierarchy, a linear flow chart to how they develop, and everything is super straightforward with how they act and function.

My party and I dealt with these recently... we learned there were more of them in different locations.

Ironic, being of pure law and order creates beings of pure chaos and destruction

Could you please do the wand of orcus? It was already briefly mentioned in the orcus video but I do think the wand's history and the way to destroy it are interesting.

Hey so got a question. Never played D&D and don’t know anyone personally but most of the videos I see on it are simple adventures/quests and that’s it. Always wanted a story of going to the abyss or the the layers of hell, other planes etc. curious if there’s anything out there involving the awesome creatures you cover in your shorts.

My players loved a adventure where they were hired by a mining company to investigate the depths of a cave system, which had many miners going missing inside. They found out the place was infested with ropers, and trolls, but after delving deeper they found the tunnels started to open up, and revealed that in the past a spell-jammer ship had crashed landed on the world prior to being covered by a landslide. The group would go back to the mining company to report, and afew weeks later had a artificer arrive in the town wanting to be lead down to the ship. When they arrived at what the group though was the entrance (they had been spending the time before the person arrived to explore around the ship an mines) the Artificer was able to open the door to enter the ship. lo an behold while mocing thruy the ship they began to be stalked an attacked by Slaad that owned the ship an over the eons had been kidnapping people from the town to turn into more of their kind. We had both a cleric an sorc that had fallen prey to being infected, before the group got the ability to choose to either destroy the ship or launch it, they choose to launch it an begin a spell-jammer adventure set.
