IELTS SPEAKING BAND 7+ - NEW SAMPLE TEST WITH SUBTITLES 2020

- Hôm nay chúng ta cùng thực hiện bài thi IELTS Speaking band 7+ với Ms.Jenny nhé. Lý do mà bài thi này đạt 7+ (có thể hơn một chút) vì:

Theo 4 tiêu chí chấm điểm:

1. Fluency & Coherence:
Tiêu chí lưu loát chưa được đáp ứng trọn vẹn, nhất là trong Part 2, vì còn "er ehm..." và thiếu linking words.
2. Pronunciation:
cần cải thiện thêm intonation và cách nhấn keywords trong 1 câu dài
3. Grammatical Range:
Chưa sử dụng được đa dạng thì, đôi khi nói thiếu final sounds dẫn đến ngữ pháp sai
4. Lexical Resource:
Từ vựng sử dụng đa số đơn giản, chưa có nhiều từ mới, phức tạp và đa dạng chủ đề

PART 1:
1. Transportation
What is the most popular means of transportation in your hometown?
Is driving to work popular in your country?
Do you prefer public transport or private transport ?

2. Accommodation
Do you live in a house or an apartment?
What do you usually do in your house or your apartment?

3. Social media.
What kinds of social media do you like to use?
Is it easy to find real friends on social networks?

PART 2: Describe a film you would like to share with your friend. You should say:
What it is
Where you watched it
Who you watched it with
And why you want to share it with your friend

PART 3
1. What is the difference between young people and old people’s favorite film? Why?
2. Do you think films/movies reflect what happens in the reality of society?
3. Do you think people will change their preference of films when getting older?

Most of the time she was using american english but there were also seen british usage of english too. Plus, subtitles corrected her a lot of mistakes.Thus, she somehow deserves to 8. Who agrees?

she is such a natural speaker. i would give her . IELTS speaking is for testing the usage, flow and confidence of english which she is excelling.

It looks like she has prepared the answers beforehand a, some phrases were too complex as it was scripted but after few seconds she managed to talk as naturally as it was .I'd say she deserves 7.5.

Really this girl deserves more than 7.5 8.0 cause speech is great according to lexical resources, coherent cohesion, fluency in short every phase is great 👍

EXCELLENT. she just forgot to bind a final linking word to the question "which film would you share to your friend". She seamlessly glided through the question but forgot to relate it to the question as if she was talking about "what is your favorite movie" instead of the real task.

IELTS is business. If you want 8, they give you 7 just to sit for the test again. If you don't like the result, you can apply for the EOR which is enquiry on result but you have to pay. So, it is a way to make money.

I think she uses variety of grammar and vocabulary, speaks so fluently, and her coherent is good. Why does she get 7? What are actually her mistakes? Please answer me. Thanks a lot
