How to enable Auto HDR in Windows

HDR or High Dynamic Range allows one to experience an increased range of color and luminance (the intensity of light emitted from a surface per unit area), which is especially useful when it comes to gaming and watching movies. Many games and movies support it, but even if your monitor supported it, Windows did not have it until now. The title is a misleading clickbait
You claim to instruct how to _automatically_ enable HDR, whereas in the video itself you instruct how to *manually* enable HDR

Is there a way to check HDR status using PowerShell or CMD? I ask because I am in the process of creating an AHK launcher for games that support HDR and I am wanting it to check if HDR is toggled on before sending the Win+Alt+B shortcut, in the off chance that it is already on, I don't it switched off. I am ot asking for help with AHK, I am trying to find the command to use so I can implement it into my script as AHK supports CMD commands.
