How To Enable Or Disable HDR And Auto HDR On Windows 11.

HDR or High Dynamic Range allows one to experience an increased range of color and luminance (the intensity of light emitted from a surface per unit area), which is especially useful when it comes to gaming and watching movies. Many games and movies support it, but even if your monitor supported it, Windows did not have it until now. This post will share how you can enable Auto HDR in Windows 11/10 for seamless switching when it is available.

Issues addressed in this tutorial:
auto hdr windows 11
auto hdr windows 10
windows 11 auto hdr comparison
enable auto hdr windows 11
auto hdr for windows 10
auto hdr in windows 11
auto hdr in windows 10

This tutorial will apply for computers, laptops, desktops, and tablets running the Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems (Home, Professional, Enterprise, Education) from all supported hardware manufactures, like Dell, HP, Acer, Asus, Toshiba, Lenovo, Huawei and Samsung.

kinda interesting lol so basically 1 minute YT video showing a display that don't support HDR ? wow
in case of someone came here and its of no help - deactivating HDR on a stuck monitor only solution I found was to connect another screen and from there able to put HDR off

All you have to do is Hold down "Windows" key + "Alt" key + "B" and it will toggle it off for you!
