Really fascinating video, highly informative. Thank you very much. Just the paradigm surrounding checking logs and diagnostics was enough for me to stumble onto a thought surrounding the USB hub that I had the phone plugged into. Hard plugged it into the back of my iMac and boom, successfully restored and didn't drop that USB connection. Happy days! Thanks again!

My kitten chewed the USB cable as my ipad 3 was charging.. ERROR 9!.. Wouldn't hold change, wouldn't do anything except bootloop twice then shutdown. Then a while later, I could plug it in.. and it would hold a little charge but not enough to do a restore, it would shutdown halfway through.. NOW 'Magically' last week, I somehow got it to full charge!! WAHOO!! (or so I thought) .. Thought i'd have a play with it while home with the apolocalspe going on.. but still ERROR 9!!! .. .. sigh.. Now, I have found your video I can say I'm 95% certain she fried something internal.. kitten is now 4 years old.. Ive been trying to fix this for four years via software.. and prayer.. both as useful as the other.

I think it's time for me to step away from the iPad and accept defeat.. I have no idea where I could get anything like this fixed here in Australia.. Sigh.. It was in perfect condition when it got 'attacked'. Luckily the kitten was cute..

ps. I have omitted many many MANY software recovery sessions / downloads / malware etc infected apps from this story.. sigh..

What can cause my ipad to constantly boot loop ….. I have never had it repaired since new …. but I cannot gain access because of the boot loop … tried to factor restore but got error 9 and 4013

I was getting an iTunes error 9 - my 6s was just cycling to a screen where it looked like it was going to download and then it would shut down reboot cycle and I would get error 9 ...as I was looking at your website for prices to get this fixed it rebooted and the progress bar started loading and its working now lol - its your energy

Thanks a lot for the instructive video. If this is made a series it’d be great. I’d personally like to know more about error 4013 as I still have an unusable iPhone 7 because of that. Apple gives little to know explanation for these errors.

There are some Easter eggs in the logs, a brick error for a jailbroken iPhone has an actual line that reads ”this is not the droid you are looking for move along”...just a funny tidbit
