my wife had to save a lot of her monthly salary to buy me my sony zv e10 m1. we don't have the capacity to buy new expensive stuff. i appreciate your video because you gave value to the original zv e10. with all the hype over the mark 2, i'm starting to feel sorry for my self that i can't buy any new camera. i will stick to my zv e10 m1, since it is still a great camera for content creations and all around use.

This has been by far the best comparison video I've seen. I've spent the last 3 days researching these cameras, and you absolutely nail the points needed. In particular by pointing out the new features and who they actually might apply to. Thank you so much!

The ZV-E10ii has one dealbreaker for me if you do photography and that is that it has no mechanical shutter and gives you in LED lights really bad banding. Still big crop in active stabilization. Still no ibis... I would stick with the ZV-E10 1 because it has mechanical shutter.

As a hybrid shooter with the mark I, the lack of mechanical shutter in mark II is a huge downgrade and deal breaker for me.

Mk1 was a general camera that was used by streamers and vloggers. Mk2 is a more vlogger/streamer oriented solution with good photo capabilities. Whats the difference? Lots of quality of life changes towards streamers: HDMI connector on Mk1 is notoriously fragile. Also prone to overheating like crazy. Upgraded battery and wider vlog recording settings. Plus... as a back up, a super solid USB-C connector if the HDMI still decides to poof. Wont be as powerful, but will give longevity where Mk1 was often tossed...

You've been stopping the hype train a lot brother because it allways kept pushing through lol . Great video tho answered a lot of my questions.

Thank you for this incredibly detailed and concise video! I've been searching for vlogging cameras for a while as a micro-influencer looking to start a Youtube channel and have been overwhelmed with the technical terms that come with buying a camera. Just pre-ordered the Sony ZV-E10 Mark II because of the clearer camera quality, color grading options, and motion stabilization.

Best of luck to everyone else buying a camera!

Going to purchase Mark ll this new year. My purpose is to shoot travel vlogs, talking head shots for my tech channel, and slow-mo. One thing that I am not really sure ie to go with the kit lens or any other lens. I am a beginner, if you are reading this comment, would appreciate your help.

I love your YT videos. Thanks for such a clear narrative on the Sony ZV-E10-II. We will appreciate if you could produce a video comparing the A6700 with the ZV-E10-II. Thanks in advance.

Awesome video. This is probably the best comparison video from one camera to its upgraded version that I've seen so far. I'm going to be just coming into content creation. Mostly You Tube and FB, and a little Tic Tok. I would be doing talking head and teaching videos and getting smaller clips from that. But I do from time to time, go out and do blogging style videos. I think that I would just be able to purchase a gimble or use Catalyst Brow to fix any issues that come with that.

The battery life and overheating are what's worrying me. My teaching videos are usually; 45 to 60 min. Been known to go up to 90 on deep topics. Kind like a 1-man podcast style. So, battery life and longer record time is very important to me. I'll have to figure that out. Definitely, not a deal breaker for me though.

But you have helped me to decide that the Mark 1 is the best choice for me. I'll take that extra money that I will save and just buy a decent lens. And hopefully, can just upgrade after I get a little money and experience. Thanks!

nothing wrong with the makr ii you see the elecotrnic shutter has a FASTER readout and since its the same sensor as the FX30 there is little to no rolling shutter. In video on the mark 1 it had HORRIBLE rolling shutter issues. The only thing you might get with no mechanical shutter is banding on photos.

Perfect video. Was looking into both since I’m looking to do some content with fitness. Definitely going for the M2 now

Really great compairison between the MK 1 & MK 2. For now this is nearly half the price for the MK 1.

And you mention the most important thing about it ! Your needs!

I've just begun to make videos on my channel to share my music from my home-studio. The biggest battery, the 60FPS, the touch screenare not so important to me... and for the price, I can save money for lenses, lights and a lot of other things ;)

With a good light and setup I will find the "best" image quality for my needs.

Cheers from Belgium

This was a great video, I am a casual photographer who used to do a lot of photography years ago, I want to get back to it but now with a new system. I used to own a fujifilm xt5 but that was an overkill, I felt super guilty for not using it enough and ended up selling it, now I wanna try it again and prefer the Sony system simply because of the autofocus and low light performance, but I’m confused again between the mark 1 and 2 of ZVE-10. The cost between the two is really significant, what do you think is better suited for me ? I do plan on getting a 35 mm prime along with the kit lens that it comes with.
