This doesn't bode well for standalone digital cameras. I'd still really like to see what can be done with 1"+ (or ideally APS-C) sensors and some of the processing that's done on high-end phones. Here's hoping Google is bringing some decent upgrades to the Pixels 9/10/11...

My preference goes to the iphone, simply because you can do more with it than just take pictures. And if you know how to film you can get really good results. And at the end of the day it's all about the story.

The Sony makes the video more dramatic, for pictures I would go with a Sony a6700

The only things that the Sony camera can do are take photos and videos.
So it’s expected to do those things better than the iPhone… otherwise, why should it even exist?

The bottom, which is the iPhone 15 which is ten times better! And when you’re done, you can edit right the picture and video on the device itself, then you can actually edit it on outside, and lastly you can upload right away to any media you want to from the phone itself to any social media, etc.

I’m going to point out something obvious that nobody ever seems to point out when comparing smartphone cameras to digital cameras. The digital cameras is just a camera, it can not do anything except take a picture on the other hand a smartphone can edit your photos and videos, text, email, is great for playing video games can surf the internet along with many other things.
