The dummy toss at the beginning...pure gold 🤣. Solid breakdown though boys. These are great for those who are learning basic self defense 👌👌👌

Thank you. You are one of the FEW trainers who actually talk about SITUATIONAL AWARENESS. Prevention is key, and nothing is perfect. Thank you.

Bro, literally the best advice I ever heard about self defense. Situational awareness is key! Better not to be surprised at all

Thank you for speaking about situational awareness. More instructors need to do this.

This is By FAR the best body slam defense on YouTube. Without question. Everyone else has videos about "grab the armpit " or "pinch this or squeeze that". Nonsense. This, however, is Legit.

Thank you very much! I live in a remote area and there isn't a city for hundreds of miles. I learn everything from YouTube. Thank you!

As somebody who wrestled in high school, it feels good to see what I learned can be used in real life

“Don’t let anyone get behind you, ” this rules. Today it would be so easy to walk up behind a person and rag doll them before they can react because almost everyone’s head is firmly up their ass.

The most important thing to remember, self awareness when you're out and about, don't zone out while being in public

I was in Brazilian jiu jitsu for 6 months and plan to get back into it and I’m gonna get my boys in it as well when they turn 4 because the world we live in is just fucked up and I think every child should learn it especially if their small is not a very big guy myself but I’m a hell of a grappler and i am very strong for my size I even took someone down that weighed over a 100 pounds more then me grabbed him by his throat put him on his back and he couldn’t get me off of him so I know I have talent and strength For my size but I’ve learned a lot and know it’s best to not fight unless your being attacked try your best to talk ur way out of a fight and it took me having kids to learn that.

When the attacker has your arms wrapped, the butt bump is a good technique to create space and then pivot.

Great video man, the body slam made me smile, it reminded of the married with children scenes when bud or Al fell from the 2nd floor.

I have done wrestling and BJJ so I'm so glad to see this video. I'm so tired of seeing people doing groin strikes and stupid s*** like that

I greatly appreciate that you emphasize that there is never a perfect scenario. That has been the Achilles Heel, of just about all the styles of training I've been exposed to.
