As a practitioner, i love seeing the opponent cradle, support, and show genuine care for the other guy

Calf slicers/ bicep slicers, heel hooks are submission I don’t play with, I respect the moment I feel it’s on and tap out instantly

I love seeing the other guy help and comfort him.

Awful, but I love the fact that the opponent immediately stopped and cared for him. I love the respect in this sport.

Hearing both of them snap like cracking your knuckles is so insane

The opponent seemed genuinely scared that he did a lot of damage. BJJ is a dangerous art form and these kind of accidents happen quite often

My coach always tells me not to tap from a bicep slicer.. says it is only pain and nothing is going to break.. f that!

Major respect to the athlete that stopped right away and helped lay him down

Dude felt it, and immediately felt awful.

That comes on so fast, your arm can break before it starts hurting. Best to tap when you feel the pressure.

If I’m ever doing a danger submission I always go lightly and let my opponent know what I have

A bully accidentally broke my arm but instead of running he stayed there with me until the ambulance came and later apologized, now we're really close best friends ❤

I’m sorry but the medic slipping at the very end is hilarious

Unless your getting paid big bucks or competing is your career, if someone has you, just tap. If you have been doing jitsu long, you know when your caught. The lasso slicer seems to be purple and below forgotten sub.

Now hes out 3-6months training and life stuff, work etc.

It's crazy how breaking bones and tearing ligaments hurts less than a getting a cramp

Good sportmanship doesnt mean your tough it means your strong.

I've seen so many broken arms with that move in competitions, especially among younger competitors. Gotta be careful.
