How to Export / Render Selected Tracks or Groups Only from Ableton Live!

This is incredibly useful for exporting stems or making sample packs where you don't need every individual track, but the full mix down won't work either. 

Turns out I missed this some how! HAHAH.. It was added back in Live 9.1.6!

After you select the tracks or groups you want to export go to File - Export Audio/Video.

In the popup menu, in the "Selection" section, located at the top of the menu, click the Rendered Track drop-down menu and choose "selected tracks only".

There are a couple limitations to what can and can't be selected, for example if you have a group selected individual tracks form that group or any others can't be selected. You can select individual tracks that aren't in groups and full groups though. This is all better demonstrated and explained in the video.

How can I export all the tracks inside a group, with the WET effects I put on the Group channel? For example, if I have a group on synths, and I put a side chain compressor on the Group channel, how can I export the individual tracks inside that Group but with the wet effect of the side chain compressor that’s on the Group channel?

Does it export them separated?
Like if I select 4 tracks and export will I get 4 individual wav files, 1 for each track or will it mix them down into 1 wav file playing audio from all 4 selected tracks?..
