Part 8. Last of the 5 lug 4 wheel disc conversion project.

DONE, and finally test drove. Man is it a new beast to drive. Handles and stops 1000 times better. Looks killer (IMO).

This video took a while, because after finishing it up, the front was too low. Decided one night to take it all back apart just to put the front spring isolators on. I was able to align it enough to get it to a shop and test drive it. This video I just revel it and talk about some of the issues discovered after the conversion.

Looks good! Nice job! Thoroughly enjoy the videos. I've got an '86 GT also. Got it new in '86 and never let it go. Needs lots of work since it sat for about 10 years. Trying to get it road worthy again. Definitely a labor of love.

How did you get LMR to put 2 different tire sizes on the 17x9 rims? Only tire/rim combos I am seeing have all 4 tires the same size. Love the way yours looks, and really on the fence with going with the deep dish rims and a true stagger.

i think i want to rise mine a little bit, i went with MM adjustable lower control arm and mm coil overs up front. but u right this car should be on bucket list, hope u keep yours, im sure keeping mines.

I'm looking at doing the same conversion to my 88 LX. Did you end up swapping the brake booster as well? I read that it's highly recommended to do that since the stock one won't provide enough assist. Apparently installing the bigger brake booster is a huge pain too, since it doesn't exactly fit without 'modifications' to the strut tower and firewall.

whats the plan for making more power? you've got all the supporting mods done, body and suspension wise.
